About The council curse refers to the possibility of Council Members becoming inactive or needing to step down after shortly being elected. This usually relates to their server activity more than forum activity, however in the past we've had council members disappear entirely with no trace of reason or explanation for why this happened. It is often joked about when a council member is recently elected that they are going to take an LOA or go on vacation shortly after doing so. It is unclear whether or not the council curse strikes all council members, but it seems there has only been one who is immune to it's grasp.
