Kurt, a young man with several aliases: Cry4Pxls, Zul’Jin, Kadaj, and some others. When Kurt was young, his brother listened to Nirvana all day long, and Kurt was getting into that music as well. Then, when a friend of Kurt hooked him up with Jedi Outcast, he started using the nickname Kurt, like he used on some chat sites and mIRC channels. After using the alias Kurt for several years, Kurt finally got bored by the nickname, as his love for Nirvana also went down. Kurt started playing Diablo II: Lord of Destruction, and still has some friends from that time, these days. As for his name, Kurt, a friend from Diablo II used to say that when he owned someone in a duel and the slain victim started crying.
Jedi Outcast
Kurt started playing Jedi Outcast in late 2002, along with a real life friend of his. After a month, his real life friend stopped playing, and Kurt was left alone in the massive world of Jedi Outcast. He decided to hang around on duel servers, and was getting quite good at it. In one of the duel games, Kurt met his teacher and best friend on Jedi Outcast called Raven. Raven was a nice guy, who knew the ways of the lightsaber like it was his pocket. He teached Kurt his tips and tricks, and the duo made a small clan together. The clan was only meant for the two of them, and was a serverless clan, just hanging around on other people’s servers, and training whenever they had time. Raven disappeared after a couple of months, never to be seen again. Kurt was left alone, once again, so he decided to take a break from the game, since no one was on who Kurt knew.
Jedi Academy
In late 2003 – early 2004, another friend from Kurt hooked him up with Jedi Academy. Kurt was a freelancer for a short while, under the name Kurt, and was mostly playing on FFA servers and Duel servers. At some point, after freelancing for a couple of weeks, Kurt joined the BlackDeathClan [BDC] server, and found a very nice time there.
Black Death Clan
As Kurt was having a real nice time on [BDC]’s server, he was invited to join [BDC] by one of the councilor, DarthZappa, the map genious known from maps such as BDC Racing, Naboo Hills and Jundland Hills. When Kurt joined forces with [BDC], he joined the sith side of the clan, since force was enabled on this server. Kurt started off as a Sith Apprentice [SA] and became friends with a lot of people in the clan, such as, Paradox1, MasterDrake, Cage, DarthZappa and much others. Kurt was ranked up soon to Sith [S], and later so Sith Lord [SL]. His ranking up to Sith Master had a long wait though, because the trial for this rank was facing two targets at the same time and win three out of five battles. But one day, Kurt completed the trial. He had to face Bananas (Jedi Councilor) and DarthShadow (Sith Master). He won three of the battles, and received the rank Sith Master. Kurt was also an admin on BDC’s server. He was not sure what rank he wanted to aim for next though, Dark Jedi [DJ] or Royal Guard [RG]. Dark Jedi was a mix between Sith and Jedi, and Royal Guard was a mix between Mercenary and Sith. He decided to aim for Dark Jedi, but the trial was too hard for Kurt, no matter how hard he trained. This trial was a three versus one battle, and just like Sith Master trial, win three out of five. Some time later, Royal Guard got removed from the board as a skill-attainable rank, and was now a special rank, which could only be given by a Councilor, in agreement of the Grand Chancellor, who was Paradox1 at that time. Kurt received the Royal Guard [RG] rank, and was now officially a BDC special member. Sadly, about a month after Kurt received his Royal Guard rank, BDC died due to inactivity.
A long rest
After BDC died, some people tried to revive the clan, but none of those attempts were working, and Kurt decided to stop playing the game, since there was no use for it anyways. After a couple of months, he went to his friend, Jasp's house, and Kurt saw Jasp playing Jedi Knight Academy. Kurt promised Jasp that he would play again, with Jasp on the same server: the Berserker Blitz Academy server.
Berserker Blitz Academy
Jasp and Kurt were playing on the Berserker Blitz Academy’s, -=*BBA*=-, server, since it was Jasp’s clan server. Jasp joined -=*BBA*=- in January. Kurt followed him in the beginning of March, and got invited by Griffin. After a week of trial, Griffin trialed him, to see what next rank Kurt should get. This turned out to be Adept Blitz (AB). Adept Blitz was the highest rank to achieve when you just finished your trial. After some time, Kurt and several others, were invited to join the Loyal Council, a special place in the clan that represents the voice of the clan. People who were in the Loyal Council wore {AB} tags, instead of (AB).
A little later, Kurt got ranked up to {BT} by Griffin, and got the power to recruit people. Mapple was one of Kurt’s recruits. However, things weren’t going as smooth as it seems; Griffin and Kurt were having a lot of differences, which evolved into fights and eventually removal from the clan for Kurt. But Griffin and Kurt made up a couple of days later, and Kurt got his old rank back. But the differences hadn't disappeared, and Kurt left and rejoined -=*BBA*=- again. In late 2006, the clan was falling apart, and a merger between the members of -=*BBA*=- and (JAWA) was proposed. Since things were only going downhill for the clan, Kurt decided to leave -=*BBA*=- and join (JAWA). Kurt’s friend, Jasp, had already joined (JAWA).
(JAWA)
On the 12th of September, 2006, Kurt was invited into (JAWA) by his fellow-dutchie, Myth. He seemed to know his way up in the rank ladder, and in two months time, Kurt achieved the rank of Guardian, along with Knight Admin. Along with his friend Jasp and several others, Kurt got invited for The Committee, the same idea as the Loyal Council from -=*BBA*=-, and Kurt accepted this ofcourse. Unfortunately, The Committee wasn’t really used the way it was meant to be used, so it was disbanded. Kurt and his friend, Jasp, thought of something new after that: the (JAWA) Movies Crew. This was because Jasp and Kurt had a passion for making funny movies of the game. The idea of the Movie Crew was to make movies with more people instead of just Jasp and Kurt himself. However, this idea never really worked out and the Movie Crew was cancelled as well. This was also because of the fact that Kurt had been removed from the clan for inappropriate behavior on the (JAWA) server.
Back to (JAWA)
Kurt decided to leave the game once again, and never come back to it. But the call of Jedi Academy was too strong, and later that year, Kurt came back to (JAWA) again, having learned a hard lesson, and becoming a better member for it. Perhaps it was too soon; after a couple of months he lost interest in the game, and was removed from the clan due to inactivity. Four years passed, during which Kurt played World of Warcraft and Diablo II, having nothing to do with Jedi Academy until May, 2011. The game caught Kurt again, leading him back to his old friends, old activities such as skinning and making forum signatures and good old times! He remained a member all that summer, but finally fell inactive again, and returned to real life until January, 2016, when he again decided to visit the (JAWA) server, and his old friends. Finding a warm welcome there, he applied for membership, and after completing his trial, was inducted once more as a full member of the (JAWA) Clan!
