On the 27th May 2014, even though he was on trial, Gravitas started contributed greatly to the clan and was welcomed back into the clan by McFish a day early of his 2 week trial date.

| Background
|
|
Got JKA for Christmas in 2003, started playing JAMP soon after getting the game. Played on 46kbs dial-up connection till 2005 :D, the day I got broadband was quite possibly the greatest day of my JKA life :D. The first clan I joined was early 2004 was -.[CD].- Cast Down, and that was a 1.00 clan, there was no ranks in that clan.. just Applicant, Member and Leader.. after a month or two I got made a leader and then being the silly billy I am.. I updated to 1.01 and didn’t realise why I suddenly had all these servers in my list xD. I then joined a clan called {TLS} The Last Survivors... I was in the clan for a year and got to the rank Jedi Knight.. I held that rank with so much pride it’s unreal xD. {TLS} disbanded because we wanted to end it all on a good note as it was slowly dying. I took a break from JKA after {TLS}... 4 Months later I came back from my break and joined a small clan called <)PE(> Phoenix Elite, they didn’t have a server but we always found somewhere to play which was ace. I got to the rank of Jedi Master fairly quickly.. then they decided to merge with a big clan and I decided against the move so ultimately didn’t move across. I disappeared from JKA once again. After a shorter break.. of about a month.. I came back to JKA and joined a server for the -=V=- Vision clan, I was playing on that server when I just thought that something felt weird.. it turns out that Vision was Cast Down xD, they had all moved to 1.01. So after a few months I was made leader and ran that clan. Until, it imploded in on itself due to the large member base and a dispute amongst the council... if my memory serves me right it all started over the clan tags. After Vision had died, I joined *VaS* Vanguards of Serenity.., not much really went on in that clan, I was a normal member.. but the leader Buffy was loco.. so it she wanted to control the clan and there was an uprising and the clan split.. at this point I was thinking of giving JKA, I started playing CTF.. I got taught how to strafe, wallrun etc... by a friend called Scooper, so I played P.U.G for a few months.. joined CTF team.. and then just went inactive..
8 months later
Installed the game... joined the (JAWA) server.. and well.. the rest is history.

| Hall of Fame

Gravitas was inducted into the (JAWA) Hall of Fame by SiLink on the 9th June 2015 Here is what SiLink and others said about Gravitas:
Heh, what can I say about this guy? First, I am completely biased since he is the best man for my wedding next year. Any way, onwards to the Hall of Fame speech ;D! Gravitas first joined us in 2009 and hasn't been out of it much since then. During his time in the clan, he has earned three Participation Awards and one Contributor Award. This goes to show how much of a helpful force this guy has been during his tenure in (JAWA). He is most well known for his work in (JAWA) Videos, where he went on to create a pretty epic Valis movie trailer back in 2012. When myself and Grav would meet IRL, I would ask him if he would ever be interested in joining the council, and the answer was usually along the lines of "Yeah but I'm not active enough." however in 2015 after a lengthy activity stint, I encouraged him to apply. It became clear very quickly that not only did he want to help, but in big ways. Unfortunately Gravitas got struck with the council curse, and his IRL caught up with him just as he was about to prove himself as he always wanted to do. I hope one day he returns to the council and continues his vision.
On a personal note, this man is single handedly responsible for me coming out of my shell IRL. I was in a very low point in my life and he simply asked "Want to meet up?", thinking I'd say no. But my inner self knew it would be good, and I accepted cautiously to his surprise. We met up, and that gave me one of the biggest confidence boosts I could ever ask for.
So, on a personal level I am forever grateful and on a clan level, your efforts have always been recognised. Thank you for all your contributions over the years and welcome to the Hall of Fame!

Gravitas is winning this award for one main reason and two other smaller reasons. The main reason for this award is his great work in getting screenshots for the maps that we didn't have on our server tracker. It didn't stop there and he went on to animate them as well which apparently took around 5-6 hours with over 160 screenshots. The other reasons for this award are for the three times he has donated to the clan ($100 in total) and the MSN importer topic he made in (JAWA) Central which simply allows you to import every members MSN in one hit instead of painstakingly adding each member one by one. Thank you very much for all your contributions to the clan Gravitas :).
