| Background
|
|
Ahh, where to start. I met this clan a way back, when I first started this game. I needed a place to stay, and I found the (JAWA) clan server. As I have always liked Star Wars, and I knew what a Jawa was, I decided this would be my first server. I assumed the name YodaMaster, and entered the server. I talked around, but found out that this wasn't a fighting clan. More like a family. I decided it wasn't for me, and I left. Later I found ESS,(Elite Sith Saberist) and I joined them from the beginning. Slowly over the months, I got better, learned a lot about the gameplay, and become wiser due to the fact that my clan mates and I talked a lot about a lot. But then eventually, as most skill-based clans do, it went inactive. It was constantly torn up by enormous egos and drama, that it went silent. Not a soul was seen on the previously bustling server, and no one, not even the most active of us all, Me, posted on their forums. So, even when I was still in ESS, I decided to go look for another clan. I tired {TO}, but they weren't active as well. I tried some base, but after 2 months, the drama consumed me and I had to leave. Thus, I saw, once again, the same server I had joined a year before. Still there, and apparently, still going strong. I joined, and talked with a few of the members, and then and there I decided to join this clan. I posted my resignation on the ESS forums, and then posted on the (JAWA) forums. You are all a bunch of amazing people. I could never even begin to imagine how active this clan is. Soon after my application was accepted, I entered the trial phase. 3 weeks later, I was accepted into the family knows as the (JAWA) Clan.

Tao was inducted into the (JAWA) Hall of Fame by SiLink on the 14th June 2009 Here is what SiLink and others said about Tao:
Tao is part of a small group of members who have worked their way up our ranks quicker than usual. This was because Tao is a very active member of our community and jumped at any opportunities he could if it would help or benefit the clan in any way. Tao started to shine as Council material around the beginning of 2009 when he became an Outer Clan Ambassador and set up all sorts of events with allies and non allies. Unlike most people who get a new rank, Tao actually kept going and kept organizing/getting our clan involved with outer clan events. On the 15th March 2009 (JAWA) took part in the "EJA Invitational"... (JAWA) came close to winning but was knocked out by EoC in the finals... however whilst everyone was fixed on the intense matches, I was watching Tao very closely and saw how he behaved in certain situations during the event. After watching the way he handled himself with various other clans (Some not so nice clans attended) I quickly saw it and turned to Helena and said "Tao's got the talent". We were actually looking for Council Members around that time so I put Tao's name forward into the discussion and on the 18th March 2009 (3 days after the tournament) Tao was welcomed into the Council. To this day he is the main driving force behind most suggestions when he's involved and has a lot of good ideas.

Tao was always an amazing council member and not to mention a TOUGH opponent to duel. Always willing to help out, I know I won't ever forget him.
