Description: A model of the Jedi Knight Aayla Secura from the cancelled Clone Wars Adventures/ and existing Republic Heroes game, also the same concept as seen in the Clone Wars TV series, ported for use in Jedi Academy.

I have made a few minor modifications to the model for it to work properly in-game, nothing noticeable, and also added a cape variation, originally from a Mara Jade model.

Fully ported, rigged and weighted for Jedi Academy using Blender.

The extra team skins were created by me using Photoshop.

Bot support: No
NPC support: No
Team Support: Yes
Custom Sounds: Yes
Custom Lightsaber: No

Side notes:

  • There are a few parts of the model that has some clipping issues, which I expect to fix in the future by reweighting.
  • The caps for dismemberment are not set up properly as of yet so the majority of the time, if a body part is cut off, you will just see straight through the model instead of the charred flesh. I plan to fix this soon.
  • A bug effecting some parts of the body to not show a shadow in-game using the more realistic setting has now been fixed in 1.1.
  • The weighting on the wrist comm has been tinkered with and should no longer detach from the model when moving around in 1.1.
  • Custom sounds from the TV show and Republic Heroes game has been added in version 1.1.
  • Some parts of the model not showing and appearing see through have been fixed in 1.2
  • Wrist comm removed in 1.2
  • Updated weights/ animations in 1.2

@Starkiller Soon. :L

So I've given the model all the needed tags to work in-game now, minus any caps. Might add those later for dismemberment etc

The model has been rigged to have it in somewhat of an alpha stage as well so that it works in-game too and I can mess around with it there. As you can see, the top half needs a lot of work compared to the bottom due to all the clipping and beginning to rush it due to how long I've been at work on this now. You're just gonna have to bare with me on that. :L

On that note, have some screenshots of some animations I have been working on getting the model ready for overnight. I'll continue probably later tomorrow (today) to get the weighting correct on the torso and also weight the hands properly as I cba at the time. @Starkiller

I wonder how it will look when I go into melee and it puts the saber on my side...if it would be over the sabers on my side or between them XD

I've done more work on the torso and arms to make them clip a whole lot less. There's some that were unavoidable due to the game that this model was meant for and also me wanting to get something out soon. So, here is version 0.2 (an Alpha if you like).

Things that still need doing:

  • Weighting the fingers to their respective finger bones so they aren't in the default Force Push pose constantly.
  • Slight adjustments to the hood so that it looks less spikey in some animations and also not see through in a small part when looking directly up (that's the way the model was)
  • A general touch up to the Torso and Arms. Due to the number of layers it has, it is very difficult to get everything perfect.
  • The small robe material that was hanging from the hands need shaders most likely, though my knowledge on doing those is 0 so for the moment they have been taken off the model and saved as a seperate object file.
  • Caps for when the model is cut into bits in-game.
  • Team skins

Also, in answer to your question, the saber clips into the hip and only the bottom of it shows. I'd have to resize the model again for it to properly sit on the hips of the model.

Anyway, here's a link so you can try it out in-game. It contains all the other original files that were already in your Pk3, untouched so feel free to replace the Pk3 with this one if you like or extract the Starkiller Folder in the players/models/ directory and make a new Pk3:

@Nightwing. How well is your knowledge on shaders? If you have some could you perhaps try to tackle this?

So a few updates on the model @Starkiller.

First of all, I've slightly adjusted some of the tags and now the lightsaber is correctly held in the hand(s) and also hangs off both hips as they should (for if dual wielding).

Secondly, you will notice that when looking at the model in certain positions to see under the hood, up the sleeves etc it is no longer see through and should look much better overall.

Team skins have been added for the model, so you can use it in TFFA environments.

The hands have been properly weighted now to the finger bones and slightly adjusted etc so they will no longer look like you have cramps in your hands constantly.

I've still yet to collect some new sounds for the model for pain etc so I will update the link to the model once I have done that, and if there are any more modifications I can think of to do to the model. To save a bit of time, I've got @RoseTyler to start work on your Wiki picture as I know you've been waiting a short while now. :L

Soon...

Edit: Actually, just noticed something meaning bad news bears for this model in-game. When performing a backstab in blue stance, it crashes the game causing you to be forced to the main menu due to the number of verts the model has. I tested it thoroughly, or so I thought and was really hoping I could get away with the current vert limit but apparently not. So, either the model will need to have a decimator modifier to make it look overall lower quality or I'm gonna have to remove something like a lightsaber from the belt because the lightsabers alone are what take me over the recommended cap by 2,000 or so.

I'll try both and see what looks better in general and you can decide the outcome.

I decided to sit and decimate the lightsaber several times until it got to that sweet spot instead. I can't find any other animations that break the model in-game meaning good news! Ignore what I said before. The lightsabers on the hip do look a little terrible when looking REALLY closely though so... Just FYI.

Features:

- Custom Sounds added for pain, a new taunt, falling etc

- Team skins

- Multiplayer only, no SP support

Following on from my previous post just before this one, you may want to test the model thoroughly in-game to ensure there are no more crashing issues as this model is still very highly detailed. Once your Wiki picture is finished, I'll edit this post and add it below for you as well.

Enjoy!

New assassin/ ninja skin for @NinjaMaster

The model has an interchangeable mask which can be put on/ taken off at any time as well as having one of the Lekku around the neck if wanted. (The mask was used from the reborn_new model which if I recall you used quite a bit back in the Xbox days. :L)

The model names to be used in the console for ease of access are:

/model ninjamaster/default

/model ninjamaster/mask

/model ninjamaster/wrap

/model ninjamaster/mask_wrap

There isn't any team support or custom sounds etc, however these can be added in the future if you would like.

I love the work you did with Aayla Secura! It's 100% accurate to the show from what I can see. You should try to make an Anakin season 3-6!

Thank you! That's much appreciated.

That's easily done. There's plenty of models for him, it's just a case of rigging/ weighting him to the JKA skeleton. I might do it eventually though.
