I personally am not big on the character Ashoka. Honestly probably would've been best if she stayed dead in Rebels. Was alot more fitting before bringing her back via time travel. I just don't see how she fits into this when her story has been done for a long time.

 

I'm more curious on how Disney is going to try their version of the Thrawn trilogy and pretty much how all the post-RotJ shows and Rebels have been building up to this. What changes would be interesting such as perhaps instead of using the mad clone Joruus C'baoth, maybe using a mad Mace Windu clone instead if Samuel Jackson is interested. Unfortunately Rukh died in Rebels, but they can bring in other Noghri. Really cool seeing Captain Pellaeon in the most recent episode of Mandalorian Season 3. I presume Boba Fett is gonna be the stand-in/replacement for Karrde and the smuggler's alliance.

As someone hyper-critical of how Disney has handled Star Wars in the past, I thought the Ahsoka trailer was one of the best trailers they've done. I managed to feel that curious thrill that I used to feel about new Star Wars content. 

That being said, I'm concerned about this all being ruined by potential time-travel garbage. Almost no franchise in existence establishes rules for time-travel that they don't end up breaking. I don't know for a fact that time-travel is a major plot-line, but I could see that route being done because it was in Marvel's Endgame. It seems everyone loves to copy Marvel because Hollywood is out of ideas. Also, Rebels somewhat established the existence of it during a certain plotline.

I will enjoy Thrawn if they write him correctly. I'm tired of incompetent or unsympathetic villains. Evil for the sake of evil and galaxy ending super-weapons are not interesting and haven't been interesting since Return of the Jedi.
