Closing date for submissions: 12th Feburary 2024 Next Week's Theme [Palworld] Submission Stage Rules: Participating rules: Anyone can submit. Screenshots are allowed JUST be creative. Don't leave them unedited! Signatures resolution must be 500x250 or less. Make sure you do stick to the size limit. Width AND height. Entries with more pixels than the size limit won't be put up for the vote! Do not use your past work which has already been submitted to the competition. Do not use work that has been taken from another Author. No Nudity. No offensive remarks. Breaking any of these rules can, and will, lead to disqualification from the current weeks SoTW. Participants can also write about their submitted signature. To do so, please write it underneath a title, Creator's Note. It will then be pasted under your submission in the voting stage. Helena Revan Posted February 11 Report Share Posted February 11 Well, I don't know if I can put up much of a fight in this one, but here's my attempt! Artist's note: Spoiler Somehow I don't think anyone needs help to read this poster! I used stock images (okay, just found on the internet) for the poster textures/shape of the big one, and modified the hue and saturation to make them look like cheap old poster paper. I also painted out a nail I didn't think looked very good. The wall, Din Djarin, and Grogu are also just internet images. I cropped the Mandalorian to fit, then used the colorize tool to match the poster paper. Grogu is rendered from another picture, with increased saturation and a slight hue shift toward green. The rancor poster is borrowed from a JKA decal, which I rendered roughly to look like a faded and poorly printed original, and tilted at 2°. The sign on the left is also a JKA decal, with the hue shifted to red, and with the gaps in the wall boards subtracted from it. The blaster burn marks are also JKA decals! I added a very slight blur to the main poster (0.5 px), and a 5 px drop shadow behind each of them, with a larger one for Grogu's pram. 4 1 Link to comment
