IronSkull86 Posted May 5 Report Share Posted May 5 | | | | | Cronus | | | | | @Cronus On Sunday the 5th May 2025, Cronus was inducted into the (JAWA) Hall of Fame by IronSkull86 Leader's Comments: I've known Cronus since the day I joined -[KoH]- back in 2007 and during the entire time I've known him he has been a beacon of honor in the Jedi Knight community. Cronus is one of the nicest people I've known throughout my time playing JKA and the fact that he has received the (JAWA) Honor of "Most Compassionate Clan Member" is proof of that. Cronus has been a part of (JAWA) for 10 years now and in that time his loyalty to (JAWA) and it's members has never faltered. During Cronus' time here, he has been a Server Admin, an Ambassador, and was even elected to the (JAWA) Council. Cronus has made a great impression on this clan over the last 10 years. Even when he went into retirement he still stayed at least a little active in the JKA server and was constantly engaging in conversations and sending memes in the (JAWA) Discord and when he came out of retirement in September of 2022, he very quickly got a reputation for his comedic antics which earned him the "Comedian of the Clan" Honor during the 2022 Honors. I am very proud to be able to call Cronus my friend and I am absolutely ecstatic that I get to welcome him into the (JAWA) Hall of Fame on the 10 year anniversary of when he joined (JAWA)! Congratulations Cronus!!! You have most definitely earned this award!!! -IronSkull86 Other Comments: Cronus is an absolute legend in the Jedi Outcast/Jedi Academy community, a beacon of positivity and inspiration for over two decades! His radiant attitude, warm and welcoming nature, and unwavering support as a mentor have made him a beloved figure among gamers. His genuine goodness has earned him prestigious roles such as Senior Council within the Knights of Honor and the esteemed rank of Lord at JAWA. If anyone deserves the illustrious honor of being inducted into the JAWA Hall of Fame, it is undoubtedly Cronus. When I first encountered him years ago, I sensed he would be a perfect fit for KoH, but I never imagined the profound impact he would have. With immense pride and joy, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to him on this remarkable achievement and simply say… May the Force be with you! -Li0nHeArT (Former Leader of -[KoH]-) Cronus was one of the very first people I met when I began my journey in Jedi Academy. From the start, he stood out as a kind, welcoming soul—someone who took the time to teach me the rules, the etiquette, and the unspoken code of the server. Concepts like laming were unfamiliar to me then, but under his guidance, I quickly came to understand the importance of respect, boundaries, and the honorable art of dueling. As I spent more time on the KoH server, I got to know not just Cronus, but a vibrant community of players (Geek, Jerome, Shadow, Li0nHeArT and so much more)—many of whom I still consider dear friends to this day. Eventually, I took the leap and joined the guild, and it was Cronus who took me under his wing. He introduced me to the true depth of Lightsaber combat, patiently passing down everything he knew. Every skill I possess today, traces back to his lessons. One memory that will forever stand out is my promotion duel against him. It was a hard-fought 2-out-of-3 match, and just barely, I clinched the win. Being promoted by Cronus himself that day felt like a true milestone—like genuine growth earned through challenge and mentorship. But beyond all the training, beyond the duels and the knowledge shared, Cronus has always been a friend. Even during times when he wasn’t as active as he wanted to be, he still made the effort to check in on me, to ask how I was doing. That kind of sincerity sticks with you. I’m forever grateful to have met him, and no matter how many years pass, he’ll always be one of the pillars I associate with this game. You more than deserve your place in these halls, Cronus. Carry on, my friend. -Sovereign At this point in the JKA community, if you're still around and kickin' you are a legend. Cronus is no exception to this. The first (and possibly last) admin ever to sleep me back in 2006, we've orbited this immediate family for so many years it's only right he's getting hall of fame (on my birthday no less). Happy 10 years and here's to many more! -Jazzy I've known Cronus for a long time. Overtime our relationship evolved into him being mere clanmates to Cronus the #1 clan member I chat with in private as we discuss things in private, exchange memes and news articles, and so on. It's been great to know Cronus. Cronus is someone who has made a name for himself overtime here at JAWA and has been someone fun to be around with and fun to play with. It's been great to have someone who is dependable like Cronus with us at JAWA for over 10 years. -Shadow I first met Cronus when he was in the Knights of Honor, and he was already the friendly, outgoing person whom I later got to know in (JAWA). He was also a frequent participant in clan matches. Cronus didn't become part of our family until 2015, but he made a big impression quickly, making friends and helping out as a server administrator, and earning a seat on the (JAWA) Council in just eight months! For the next two years, Cronus helped guide the clan as we moved into a new era and developed new traditions. During this period he also managed the Ambassadors, a job for which he was ideally suited. Real life caught up with Cronus at the end of 2017, and was fittingly awarded the rank of Lord when he stepped down from the council. But despite the many demands of a busy life, Cronus has still found time to spend with his friends in (JAWA), and has never been anything but the most welcoming and gregarious of members. It's no accident that he's received Honours as "Most Compassionate Clan Member" and "Comedian of the Clan". Cronus Posted May 6 Report Share Posted May 6 (edited) Thank you, everyone! I am beyond honored. First, I'd like to apologize for not being around as much as I'd like. There was a time not long ago, I would attend every League and be able to stay the length of the event. As many know, life has not been easy for me at times. Working a full time job really does take it's a lot out of me. Thank you all for continuing to think of me. In my younger years, JKA & JKO were the games that brought me into the PC gaming world and the online gaming world. I wouldn't trade any of that time on any other game. I believe many others feel the same way, hence why the game remains as active as it is today. I've met people that will stay a part of me for the rest of my life. JAWA has always been a special place for me. It can quickly bring me back to those younger years of JKA and look back at how far we've come as people, gamers, and friends. We've been through ups and downs together, fought, made up, and grew this clan to the longevity that it is today. I would like to thank everyone who took the time to write their kind words; Ironskull, the Leader of JAWA. If you asked me in our KoH days, if I thought you would be the leader of JAWA, I would've said No. For the simple fact at that time, I never thought Link would pass the torch. :P. But with the group of leaders JAWA has come to have, I don't think they could've picked a better person to help keep this clan thrive. I have personally witnessed what it takes to lead a clan, let alone one that has been around for the time JAWA has, and I believe you will do amazing things with the Title. When I joined KoH some decades ago, I don't think JKA would've had the impact it did, if not for you. Thank you for what you did back then with an amazing group of people. I'm sure I'm not the only one with lasting memories of our Knights of Honor days. The day we get Li0n to join JAWA is the day we've all come full circle. Thank you, Li0n. Sovereign, my friend. One of my first Padawans following my training with Shadow. It's so cool to see how those memories stuck with you and I'm glad they did. Everything I was able to teach you, Shadow had taught me. I'm happy I was able to pass it down and that it's something that has created a great player in game and an amazing member of JAWA. Hopefully soon we'll be able to recreate that 2 of 3 match and you'll be able to show me everything you've learned. Thanks for always being a cool dude and a great friend, Sov. Jazzy, As the decades pass I don't know whether to be impressed or worried that you remember me being the last person to sleep you in 2006. You've always more impressed me so I believe that is the case here. One of the last things we did in KoH was merge with your clan. You were always a cool dude. Still to this day your reputation and skill with a saber is almost 2nd to none within our whole community. To think in one year, we'll be 20 years since that sleep. Shadow, one of my longest friendships within JKA that can be traced back to my early years within the community. Dude, you taught me everything I knew back in KoH. Even when I was a pain in the butt. Lol. I think its pretty cool we've watched ourselves grow so much throughout the years. Thank you for always being a good friend and there when I need ya. You taught me what I know in JKA and you continue to help teach to this day. Thanks bro. Helena Raven, I don't think I've seen someone work as hard as you. You continue to teach classes, run league and you do it with honor and respect. I believe our friendship goes back to the early years as well. One of the reasons I decided to join JAWA after KoH was your etiquette mirrored that of the Knights of Honor. I'm proud to call you a friend and I don't believe JAWA would be the same without your dedication. Thank you for all you do here and thank you for being a friend. There are so many more I'm leaving out. Just know there are many of you who have impacted my life in ways I couldn't express in words. People like, Aya Solari, Water, Dace, Dragon, Wolfy, Picco, and Mooku! There are so many, many more people who have made a lasting impact. As I write this at 4:00am before I have to get ready for work, because this is the only free time I have nowadays, I just want you all to know how much you mean to me. I'm always around if anyone needs anything. Thank you everyone in JAWA for keeping this clan and game alive and well! I may be at my 10 year anniversary here but I've known a lot of you almost twice that. Like Deadpool told Wolverine, "we'll be doing this till' we're 90."
