A melee tournament was held at the first (JAWA) League in 2005. The winner of this event was crowned "Fist-Foot Champion." Upon the revival of the league in January, 2006, Zajac won the title. SiLink then challenged and defeated Zajac for the title on January 22. However, on January 29, it was decided that it would no longer be allowed to challenge the event winners. New champions would only be named at each (JAWA) League. This event is also known as "Melee Wars".
Rules
All participants must gather around the edges of the Bespin platform. If you don't wish to participate then please spectate.
Since pickups are off, participants must have 100/25 health/armour. If you don't, then /kill and return back to the platform quickly.
All players must use melee.
Players will be asked to go to melee, a little while later a countdown will begin (3, 2, 1, GO!). Players must wait until GO! before jumping into the middle. Attacking players at your side straight after GO! may result in a disqualification and restart in the entire event.
After the event begins, participants must not avoid the battle. If you are caught doing this then you may be disqualified and sent to spectator. Players must engage in the fight in the form of a Free For All.
Things disallowed: grapple hook and jetpack. Crouch punching IS allowed, but only very briefly. If it is spammed or used for longer than a second you may be disqualified from the event and spectated.
When dead, go to spectator mode until the event has concluded. You must not return to the battle, this is a last man standing event.
