On the 22nd of January, 2013, the return of The (JAWA) Ladder tournament was announced by SiLink. The enormous success of the original (JAWA) Ladder in 2012 indicated that interest would be strong, and the first entrants applied almost immediately! The tournament completed with Drake taking 1st Place, Vultax taking 2nd Place, & Nuk3R4z0r and Jazzy taking 3rd Place.
Rules & Guidelines
Participants must use the same type of lightsaber throughout the tournament.
It is up to the competitors to schedule and hold matches. Participants are expected to make reasonable efforts to schedule matches at times convenient to both themselves and their opponents.
All of the matches in each round must be held, and the next round announced, before any matches in that round may be held.
Each match consists of 5 duels, in which the participants begin with 100 hit points and 100 shield points.
Duels in which a participant is killed by the environment (i.e. elevators, pits) may be replayed.
If a duel or duels is affected by other circumstances, such as lag, which make the competition unfair to one participant, the match may be replayed by agreement of the competitors.
Matches may be interrupted and continued later without resetting the score.
Each match must be overseen by a Council Member, who will act as referee if the parties disagree about the rules or any other circumstances affecting the match.
Participants may be disqualified for failing to make reasonable efforts to hold a match.
